Conditions of Purchase and Participation in Trips Set by the Program

Fixed trips refer to all activities with fixed departures as published on our website.

Confirmation of Reservation

The reservation is final when you have received written confirmation from ALM Compagny of receipt of payment.
At that point, ALM Compagny becomes responsible for the delivery of the products or events you have ordered, while you become financially responsible for the reservation.

By making a reservation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these conditions on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, on behalf of your traveling companions. You accept responsibility for all payments due to ALM Compagny for all travelers in your party.

You are responsible for ensuring that the details of your reservation are correct and that all members of your group are fully informed about what has been booked and any subsequent changes.

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation from the booking date and up to 4 weeks before the activity date, a cancellation fee of NOK 3000 will be charged to the customer.
If canceled 4 to 2 weeks before the activity date, the client will be charged 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
If canceled less than 6 days before the activity date or in case of no-show, the client will be charged 100% of the total amount.

Events Beyond the Company’s Control

Events outside the control of the company, such as strikes, lockouts, force majeure, fire, technical problems, or other unforeseen circumstances, give ALM Compagny the right to terminate the contract without compensation.

The organizer (hosts) is responsible for any damage caused to property or equipment as a result of negligence or intentional behavior on the part of the participants. Any taxes or fees imposed by the State after the agreement has been made will be added to the invoice (e.g., VAT).

Complaints

All complaints relating to services delivered by ALM Compagny must be submitted in writing within 5 days following the end of the activity or event. Complaints filed after this deadline will not be eligible for any form of financial compensation.

Changes and Cancellations by ALM Compagny

ALM Compagny reserves the right to modify tours and programs due to weather conditions or other safety-related reasons. All programs and tours may be adjusted or canceled for security reasons. In the event of cancellation by ALM Compagny, the amount paid will be refunded in full.

The participant who booked the tour will be contacted primarily via the email address used when booking. It is therefore important to check your emails regularly for any updates.

Responsibility

The organizer is insured for civil liability through its insurance agent. Participants must also have their own appropriate travel insurance.

ALM Compagny cannot be held responsible for losses or additional costs resulting from delays or circumstances beyond its control, such as strikes, accidents, illness, or force majeure events.

ALM Compagny is not responsible for valuables brought by participants, such as bags, glasses, cameras, telecommunications devices, or clothing.

Participant’s Duty and Conduct

Participants are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the booked activities. They must comply with the rules of conduct and instructions given by the organizer.

ALM Compagny reserves the right to refuse participation in a tour or activity if a participant poses a safety risk to themselves or others, or if their behavior causes significant inconvenience to other participants.

By confirming their reservation, participants declare that there is no medical reason preventing them from taking part in the program described.

If a participant does not comply with staff instructions, ALM Compagny staff are authorized to exclude the participant from further participation in the activity. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

If a participant decides to interrupt their participation in a tour or program of their own accord, no refund will be given.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute between the customer and ALM Compagny shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts where ALM Compagny is located.
